TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking any of our tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions described below. These terms are intended to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized experience for all guests and apply to all tours and services provided by our company.

 

Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Cancellations by the clients 

Any cancellation must be requested in writing and within the timeframes established by the company. 24 hours before the experience starts. Due to the nature of mezcal tours, we offer, which require advance planning, specialized personnel, permits, equipment for practice, and insurance, no refunds will be issued if cancellation is not made at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.  


Rescheduling 

The company may, at its sole discretion, allow the rescheduling of the tour, provided that the request is made with the minimum advance notice established and subject to availability. Rescheduling is subject to operational, weather, and safety conditions and may incur additional administrative fees.


Transfer of Tour 

If you have already booked a tour with us but are unable to attend at the very last minute for any reason, your booking may be transferred to another person, such as a friend or family member. Please note that all bookings are non-refundable, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.


No-Shows and Delays 

Failure to appear on the day of the tour, as well as delays that prevent participation in the activity, will be considered a last-minute cancellation and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling. Please note that there is a 10-minute grace period for arrival.


Cancellations Due to External Causes or Force Majeure  

In the event that the tour must be canceled due to circumstances beyond the company’s control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, safety risks, government orders, natural disasters, or any situation that may compromise participant safety, the company may offer a rescheduled date or a credit in favor of the client, or in this case a full refund.


Cancellations by the Company

If the cancellation is solely attributable to the company and rescheduling is not possible, the client shall be entitled to a partial or full refund, as applicable, limited exclusively to the amount paid, excluding any additional expenses, fees, transportation, or other indirect costs.


Acceptance of the Terms

By making a reservation and completing payment, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and fully accepted this Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy, which forms an integral part of the company’s Terms and Conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY

By booking any of our tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the payment policy described below. This payment policy is intended to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized experience for all guests and apply to all tours and services provided by our company.

 

Mandatory Advance Payment 

To confirm any reservation for our mezcal tours offered by the company, the client must make full payment for the service in advance, within the timeframe indicated at the time of booking. Advance payment is an essential requirement to ensure availability and proper planning of the tour.

 

No Acceptance of Payments on the Day of the Tour 

Under no circumstances will payments be accepted on the day the tour takes place. The company reserves the right to withhold the provision of the service if payment has not been received and confirmed in advance.

 

Reservation Confirmation 

A reservation shall be considered confirmed only once full payment has been received, processed, and validated by the company. Any prior communication shall not constitute final confirmation until payment has been successfully credited.

 

Failure to Make Payment 

If the client fails to complete payment within the established timeframe, the company may automatically cancel the reservation without prior notice and without generating any liability or compensation.

 

Client Responsibility  

The client is responsible for completing payment correctly and within the specified timeframe, as well as for retaining the corresponding proof of payment. The client also acknowledges that our mezcal tours require advance planning, logistics, specialized personnel, and safety measures that depend on advance payment.

 

Acceptance of the Payment Policy

By making a reservation and/or completing payment, the client declares having read, understood, and fully accepted this Payment Policy, as well as the general Terms and Conditions of the service.

 

EDUCATIONAL NATURE OF THE EXPERIENCE, ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AND RESPONSABILITY

Educational Nature of the Experience

By booking, purchasing, or participating in the tour, the participant expressly acknowledges and agrees that the experience is designed and provided strictly for educational purposes. Accordingly, all participants shall be deemed students engaged in a structured learning environment focused on mezcal, including, but not limited to, its history, traditional and modern production processes, regional variations, and cultural significance.


The participant understands and accepts that the primary purpose of the experience is educational instruction and cultural learning, and not solely consumption or entertainment. Any tastings or demonstrations are provided as part of the educational curriculum.


The participant agrees to conduct themselves in a respectful, responsible, and appropriate manner consistent with an educational setting at all times. Participants further agree to comply fully with all instructions, guidelines, safety measures, and directions provided by the tour guide, instructor, or any authorized personnel.


The organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit participation, deny service, or remove any participant from the experience without refund if such participant fails to comply with the terms herein, engages in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior, or otherwise interferes with the educational environment or the safety and enjoyment of others.


By participating in the experience, the participant confirms their understanding and acceptance of the educational nature of the tour and all conditions set forth in this clause.


Alcohol Consumption, Assumption of Risk, and Liability

The participant acknowledges and agrees that the consumption of alcoholic beverages, including mezcal, is part of the educational experience. All tastings are provided strictly as part of the instructional component of the tour. 

 

By participating, the participant affirms that they are of legal drinking age in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and agrees to consume alcohol responsibly and in moderation at all times. 


The participant understands that the consumption of alcohol is voluntary and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to impairment, loss of coordination, and other physical effects. The participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the consumption of alcohol and participation in the tour.


The participant agrees that the organizer, its owners, employees, guides, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or any other incident resulting from or related to the participant’s consumption of alcohol, failure to follow instructions, or participation in the experience. 


Participants further agree not to operate any vehicle or machinery under the influence of alcohol and to make appropriate transportation arrangements if necessary.


By participating in the tour, the participant expressly acknowledges and agrees to all terms set forth in this clause.

 

These experiences provided by Mezcal Tour Experience are operated by Órale Overseas – Spanish and Culture Immersion S.C. and are designed exclusively for educational purposes.
